Julie K. Patel was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and has had an eye for design since before she can remember. With art and design as a hobby, she decided to get a degree in Business Management from NC State University so that she could take any talent she had and transform it into a business. After college, Julie decided her dreams and talents could become her career.
Combining a natural talent for design with a fashion-crazed personality, Julie has successfully created her clothing line ‘Julkee’, named after a childhood nickname given to her by her father. Julie now takes this nickname and considers it as her ‘fashionista’ alter ego who holds the ‘key’ to fashion. ‘Julkee’ is for the woman who wants to be noticed and admired, whose personality shines through her clothing. She is elegant and sophisticated but also mysterious and edgy. She holds that key- and now so can you.
